Saint Augustine of Hippo was a Roman African, early Christian theologian and philosopher from Numidia whose writings influenced the development of Western Christianity and Western philosophy. This volume is a biography from his late disciple who would assume the leadership role of the Augustinian community after his death in the 5th century.
