Guided by Sir Livionis, the extremely handsome (now former) knight, Sophelia von Lotus has skipped out on her overwhelming responsibilities as the crown prince's fiancée and left behind the only life she has ever known. The pair set forth on a journey of discovery and are dazzled by both their newfound freedom and each other, but before they get ahead of themselves, they must outrun any would-be pursuers and say goodbye to the Kingdom of Frettume. They make for the border as quickly as Sophelia's fear of heights and horses will allow, eventually reaching a quaint little town where they plan to take a much-earned rest. But when that town suddenly finds itself under attack by gargantuan monsters, the pair quickly leap into action. And...who's this on the scene helping to save the day alongside them?
