Hamza is a British-born child who is fortunate enough to go on a momentous trip with his family. One Eid Day, following the month of Ramadan, Hamza's father reveals some exciting news about his plans to take Hamza on a trip to the Middle East. This trip is no ordinary trip, but one that will become no less than a Journey of a Lifetime for the ten-year-old boy. Hamza gets the opportunity to visit Jordan, Palestine, Israel and Saudi Arabia, but the highlight is the chance to set foot in the great Masjid Al-Aqsa in Jerusalem which, according to rumours in Hamza's town, is almost impossible to visit. His excitement throughout the journey knows no bounds as he becomes mesmerised with the history, the culture and the differences between his life back in Oldham and life in the Middle East.
