In the near future, the United States teetered on the edge. It had started subtly: A populist candidate catapulted from reality TV to the White House, dazzling voters and flustering the establishment with his bravado. On inauguration day, half the country celebrated in jubilant disbelief; the other half watched in mounting dread. But soon, what many dismissed as campaign antics, hardened into state creed.
The new president, shrewd and shameless, gutted regulatory agencies, sidelined Congress, and demanded unwavering loyalty from everyone—cabinet secretaries, military brass, and even late-night comedians. Within a year, fact and fiction blurred beyond recognition. The news cycle became a hall of mirrors, and protesters crowded city squares with homemade signs and riotous chants, only to be met with militarized police and tear gas.
Amidst this turmoil, a brilliant scientist named Dr. Ethan Reid devises a daring plan to remove the president from power. He creates an android duplicate of the president, genetically enhanced to be an ideal leader. This android, named Adam, is programmed to embody the president's persona while possessing superior intelligence and empathy. Reid's plan hinges on replacing the real president with Adam, allowing the android to govern more rationally and ethically.
