Skybound Accord: Chains in the Deep
The Accord was meant to keep the sea free — but when blackened chainships slip past the gates in the dead of night, Leira and Kael must chase an enemy that hides not above the waves, but in the deep below.

Weeks after the Skybound Accord unites the archipelago, mysterious chainships begin appearing in the inner channels — unmanned vessels bearing sigils from the first war, their holds empty except for drowned chains still warm to the touch. As these ghost-ships spread, spirits start vanishing from even the most protected waters.

Leira, now the Accord's chief treaty-scribe, and Kael, a newly appointed storm rider-captain, are sent beyond the safety of the ropeways into uncharted currents — only to discover that the enemy's stronghold lies far below the surface, where human lungs cannot follow and the chains themselves are alive.

Their bond will be tested not just by distance, but by a choice: to break the deep chains, one of them must anchor their spirit in the sea forever.
