The new 6th Edition of Reynolds on North Carolina Family Law, Volume 1, authored by Suzanne Reynolds, Dean Emerita and Professor of Law at Wake Forest University School of Law in Winston Salem, North Carolina, replaces Volume 1 of the title Lee's North Carolina Family Law, 5th Edition.

Dean Reynolds was the rewrite author for the 5th Edition of Lee's North Carolina Family Law, which helped shaped family law in North Carolina since publication in 2002 and which this edition replaces. The 6th Edition recognizes Dean Reynolds as the rightful author, having completely revised and reorganized the treatise to keep pace with the numerous changes and developments in family law these past twenty years.
