Six years after the war between the Kingdom of Emor and the Empire of Solasce, wives Clarice Saffron and Katherine London are still inundated with unyielding paperwork in their effort to integrate the vanquished Solasce into the greater kingdom. Their tranquil if tedious respite is interrupted when a gigantic monster approaches the island, calling the two Horas out of the office and back onto the battlefield.

The last time an Abyssal Lurker approached Solasce, it took forbidden weapons to stop it; now it falls on Clarice and Kathy, along with every scrap of might that the kingdom's occupying force can provide, to slay this one.
