In the ancient realm of Aethermoor, where the veil between the mortal world and the celestial sphere was thin as morning mist, there lived a young woman whose destiny was written in the stars themselves. Lyralei Nightweaver had always known she was different, though she could never have imagined just how extraordinary her heritage truly was.

The village of Stellahaven nestled in a valley where the mountains reached so high they seemed to cradle the very heavens. Here, the stars burned brighter than anywhere else in the known world, and it was said that those born under certain celestial alignments possessed gifts beyond mortal understanding. Lyralei had been born on the night of the Convergence of Seven, when seven stars aligned in perfect harmony—an event that occurred only once every thousand years.

From childhood, strange things happened around her. Flowers bloomed out of season at her touch, wounded animals sought her out for healing, and on clear nights, she could hear whispers from the stars themselves. Her adoptive parents, the kind-hearted innkeepers Marta and Aldric, had found her as an infant on their doorstep with nothing but a silver pendant bearing an unknown constellation and a note written in a script that seemed to shimmer and change when viewed directly.

"Guard her well," the note had read, "for she carries the light of creation itself."

Now, on her twentieth birthday, as Lyralei stood in the inn's herb garden watching the familiar constellations wheel overhead, she felt a stirring in her blood that she had never experienced before. The pendant at her throat grew warm, and suddenly the whispers of the stars became clear as crystal voices.
