Growing up in a small Michigan town, Robert Pendleton, author of the popular Rick Kimberly's Guide series, had two best friends: Sydney, and his rival for her affection, Charlie Pratt. Sydney is everything to them, including the one thing that could tear their friendship apart. A pact meant to preserve their friendship sends each on a different path to capture Sydney's heart.
