Literally, it's my fault. I wasn't careful enough with the Magic Academy's potions, and ended up Bonding myself to our Alpha King.

Seriously. This was such a dumb move. I've worked with magic before. I thought I was better than this.

Guess not.Not only is this the opposite of what I wanted to do, it's the very thing my parents have been working so hard for, despite the target this position now paints on my back.

So I'm trying my best not to get killed by my bloodthirsty rivals, and guess what? It turns out, the Alpha King isn't the person my family led me to believe he would be, and that the people I call family are not only wrong, but traitorous.

They expect me to obey them, but if I do, everything in our world will be destroyed.

If I explain my side, will they listen to me, given my new role as Alpha Queen? Or will my refusal to do as I'm told make me more enemies than friends out of my loved ones?
