Jarra Mumbulla, formerly known as Dirawong, wants to make amends to the people of Alice Spring, Australia. With the blessing of the Saxons and the mayor, Jarra agrees to be a clerk for a week for one of the stores he formerly ruined. However, not everyone in town agrees with his presence — particularly Zelda Hazlett a mixed Aboriginal woman refuses to trust Jarra. She tries to sabotage him by stealing his didgeridoo to framing the Saxon family as being drunk superheros
