Kai Dahl, no relation to bestselling author, Roald Dahl, was born in Brisbane Mater Mothers Hospital on the 25th of June 1965. A sibling of five others, his childhood years until the age of eleven were spent in the suburb of Woolloongabba, after which he was raised in the town of Crow's Nest, Queensland until he turned fifteen. From here, he lived in various towns and cities including Emerald, Moree and Brisbane until settling in the city of Toowoomba in 1992 where they remain. Married to his school heart sweetheart in 1987, Kai and his wife, Michelle, have three adult children scattered throughout Australia and the world. Kai has numerous educational degrees including a Master of Business, a Masters of Property Management, A Bachelor of Education and is a Justice of the Peace for the State of Queensland. Having lived a difficult life, Kai hopes to bring some hope and understanding to readers of a scourge that has infiltrated many countries, but only been recently acknowledged.
