In Random Reflections, Lois Schaffer highlights the dynamics of human relationships comprising various cultural and educational themes.
She has connected the interplay of spatial expression with the written word and dance movement, each influencing the other with an intricate choreography of significance.
There are connections between the way in which dancers shape each gesture and the printed word. Schaffer demonstrates the bending, spiraling and jumping in dance are the unifying elements of the printed words also leaps, pulses and spirals. Together, they are kinetically related and analogous.
