What do you do when sticking to your principles costs you the career you've spent your whole life building?

Wendy Whitelaw has just lost her job as one of the country's most brilliant chefs. Angry and defeated, with her career in tatters, she lands at Teapot Cottage, where she hopes to recover her shattered reputation and work out how to claw her way back to the only thing that gives meaning to her life.

Billy Briggs is a property developer who shows up unannounced and unwanted, with lofty ideas to clear the debt that is threatening to drown him. When the opportunity to save himself taken from him without warning, he is bitter and resentful, and looking for someone to blame.

When Wendy and Billy meet, they hate one another on sight. She wants to be left alone, to make her future plans, but he wants what she has, and he's determined to get it.

Each of them would cheerfully choke the life out of the other, but Teapot Cottage, with its uncanny way of changing people's perspectives, has a different outcome in mind.
