Face Down O'er the Border is the tenth and final novel in the Face Down mystery series featuring Susanna, Lady Appleton, Elizabethan gentlewoman, herbalist, and sleuth. The border of the title is the one between England and Scotland. In 1577, Susanna receives word that her dear friend Catherine, Lady Glenelg, is missing after being accused of murdering her mother-in-law. Susanna must travel o'er the border to discover who really committed the crime.

"This latest in a consistently rewarding series has the usual strengths in pace, plot, prose, and background detail." Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine
