Sheldon Greaves earned a Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley while living and working in Silicon Valley ibefore the dot.com bust. Pursuing his doctorate on a shoestring and divergent interests led him to develop a different approach to intellectual work. Throughout his long and varied career, Sheldon has used the tools of "guerrilla scholarship" to do interesting intellectual work outside of academia.
