本故事承接前作《须弥山》，上半部补充描写杨戬等人前往地狱，借助「轮回之门」重返天界的经历与挑战；下半部则转入主线，讲述众人再次闯入幽冥，为阻止哮天犬堕入魔道展开殊死一战。哮天犬已吞噬九婴之力，并进一步撕裂犼的封印，正逐步化为绝世魔兽。若其彻底觉醒，六道众生将陷入前所未有的大劫，三界存亡，危在旦夕。

This story continues from the previous installment, 'Mount Sumeru'. The first half recounts how Yang Jian and his companions journeyed into the underworld to seek the Gate of Reincarnation in order to return to the Heavenly Realm. The second half follows their return to the depths of hell, where they face a dire crisis: the once-loyal celestial hound, Howling Celestial Dog, has devoured the monstrous Jiuying and begun to break the seal of the primordial beast Hou. As it transforms into an unparalleled demonic entity, the balance of all six realms hangs by a thread. Should the transformation be completed, all sentient beings will be plunged into catastrophe.
