In the heart of Deadwood, two strangers find themselves stranded when the pandemic strikes. Penn Quarry, a reclusive meme creator with a crippling fear of horses, and Ren Sato, a Japanese artist whose origami-lasso dreams are shattered when the World Gay Rodeo Finals are canceled. Forced to share a tiny line shack on a local ranch, their initial awkwardness gives way to an unexpected connection.

As fear and uncertainty grip the small town, Penn and Ren discover courage in each other's presence. While Penn confronts his lifelong equinophobia, Ren struggles with his derailed artistic ambitions. Together, they transform their isolation into inspiration, sparking the idea for Deadwood's first-ever Pride event.

But in a traditional western town unaccustomed to change, their growing love faces opposition. When protest threatens to silence their expression, they must find their voices—and in doing so, create a community where resilience triumphs and love finds its home in the most unexpected places.

"Deadwood Origami Hearts" is a tender, hopeful romance about finding strength in vulnerability and building something beautiful from brokenness.
