When the women's softball team of Northampton Community College (Bethlehem, PA) won its 93rd consecutive game on April 1, 2007, it set a new collegiate team record. Unfinished Business chronicles the three-year history of that record-setting achievement.

The story dramatically rises above simply setting records.

Unfinished Business is a story about life-unpredictability, unlikely victories, and well-deserved rewards. It's about building a team, but it's also about fostering a family. As the seasons unfolded, one woman learned she was pregnant. Another was called to active duty in Iraq. Personality clashes abounded. And the head coach, who underwent dangerous gastric bypass surgery, wrestled with the push-pull emotions of being torn between the love for his family versus his dedication to the team.

Unfinished Business is a story about real people overcoming real challenges. It's told in the coach's voice, and the voice of every member of the team, as they share what can be achieved when many come together as one.

Sam Carrodo, a Hall of Fame coach in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley, was the head softball coach at Northampton Community College from 1998 until 2010, during which time his teams won four State Championships.

Ed Rabinowitz is an award-winning journalist, and the author of two previously published books: One More Dance, a nonfiction memoir; and Bloodline, based on his experience as an adoptee discovering his biologic family.
