At that time,dogs were not yet domesticated. They roamed the wild,hunting for their food like any other animal. 3 One day the dogs decided to convene a meeting. The purpose of the meeting was to talk about the fact that they were tired of hunting. They wanted to explore other ways to survive. After a long discussion,one of the dogs said he had a plan. 4 "Tell us about it, we are listening,"said the other dogs. "I think we should befriend the hunters,"he said. "How can we do that?"The other dogs were curious. "It is easy. When these hunters come back from the forest,they are very tired. What we must do is follow them to their villages. 5 Once they reach their homes, we must not immediately go near them.
