This audiobook is narrated by a digital voice.
Jesus, grilled by the Pharisees on when the kingdom of God would come, answered,
"The kingdom of God doesn't come by counting the days on the calendar. Nor when someone says, 'Look here!' or 'There it is!' And why? Because God's kingdom is already among you."
Jesus made it clear that God's Kingdom is already here among us. It is not a place that can only be gotten to by physical death. We can live in the Kingdom. We can gain passage to God's Kingdom, right here and right now. We see many verses in the Bible telling us how we can gain entrance and what it is like. Many are seen in the pages of this book.
These lessons of Jesus all have one thing in common. They all help in leading us to the Kingdom of God. We will learn that the Kingdom of God is so much more than knowing and understanding. True faith requires full commitment. While knowing and understanding gets us close, it takes a full commitment to God to make it all the way there.
Knowledge alone is not enough. True entry into God's Kingdom requires faith in Jesus as the Messiah (not just an understanding of the law) and a personal transformation, not just intellectual agreement. One needs to move from understanding to belief and surrender. It must be more than just knowing what is true, one must act on that truth. We must take the final step of surrendering to God's rule by going further, beyond just the knowledge of true faith. Jesus speaks to those who are "ready for the truth". His teaching requires an open heart and willingness to embrace a higher way of living. This teaching is for those who want to live in the Kingdom by living Kingdom's principles.
