When somebody opens the door to their personal life, it can be hard to look away. Vagina-Mite knew this back then, twenty years ago, when she started publishing her personal journal entries online, as a blog. Vagina-Mite began as an experimental alter-ego, a way of challenging and overcoming extreme introversion, but soon became a way of Being in the World. Sometimes, a lifeline.

Twenty years later, when life isn't adding up to the sum of its parts, V-M is prompted to remember. That the years behind her were not nothing; they were full of something, many things. And this is where she put them.
