The book 'Two Worlds in One' is a subtle presentation of an endemic Southern slave American society. It could be a new course book for Literature that combines the stories of two worlds, the Safe calm North and the brutal and malicious South. A historical novel of the American civil war, the author has combined fiction and history to tell a slave tale in a very subtle and succinct manner. She has successfully painted a picture of a successful black man in a time when blacks had no rights in the Southern part of the Americas. The book is learner friendly for these times because it tells a peoples history while recounting a story with beautiful fundamental literary elements for all learners of its class. It is written in clear and concise language and divided into titled chapters to aid the understanding of students in Literature.
