A routine Seattle tour aboard The Emerald Cruiser turns into a nightmare when a volcanic-fueled storm and a devastating tsunami strand a diverse group of passengers on the remote, unforgiving Blackwood Falls. Led by the guilt-ridden Captain "Sunny" Jones, this unlikely band of survivors—including a cynical Seattle local, a Nigerian comedian, a prejudiced Texan, a mobster in witness protection, and individuals battling critical medical conditions—must confront not only the brutal elements of the Pacific Northwest wilderness but also their own prejudices and hidden demons.

As hunger gnaws and sanity frays, a desperate gamble with psychedelic mushrooms leads to shared delusions and terrifying individual truths.
