孔子第四十九世嫡长孙孔玠是衍圣公孔端友的儿子。然而，在不少史志古籍中却众口一词，说孔玠乃孔端友胞弟孔端操的第四个儿子，因孔端友无子，故而过继给了端友。这种说法，流行了几百年，似乎成了真理。唉，殊不知这正好是"三人成虎"的绝好注脚。
