《诗经》是我国第一部诗歌总集，是中国文学经典中的经典。
《诗经》收录了自西周初年到春秋中叶，即从公元前11世纪到公元前6世纪大约五百年间的305篇作品，本来叫"诗"或"诗三百"。汉代儒家把它列为必读经典，因而称为《诗经》。
