Genitive Case is a novel about women of our time, residing in Kyiv, who have lived through Perestroika, Chernobyl, the collapse of the Soviet Union and economic crisis. They all met in the hospital in the maternity ward where they gave birth to children on the New Year Eve.

Each of the characters life has developed in its own way, but all are worthy of admiration, as they were able to withstand the challenges life throws at them.
