What's a fae to do with a runaway mate?

As a mortal, Henry has no hope of chasing his own pleasures. Even if he could, there are no other like-minded men in his village, so when his friends goad him into attending a masquerade in the god's wood nearby, Henry jumps at the chance for what he believes will be his only night of magic.

However, his night becomes all the more magical when he catches the attention of a beautiful fae. Brought into the arms of this strange, ethereal man, Henry has a night to remember, quickly followed by a morning of shock when he finds himself waking in Faerie, losing half a day which sends him rushing home.

Little does he know he just left his fated mate behind.

Joarr awakes without his mate. Confused, the fae wanders further into his realm, thinking his mate has gotten lost, but when he can't find his mate, the fae returns to the god's realm where the two first met. To his shock, his mate crashed the party.
