After Shaarvan rejects her, Shaara goes to the artificial planet of Westla for Priestess training. But when Shaara, her sons and the Bondmates arrive in Westla, Shaara finds that she must first pass the Priestess test and then learn to deal with the jealousy and resentment of the other Priestesses who say she is too young and too pretty to join their ranks.
