Law firm investigator Shane Daniels thought he had caught killer Adam Talino red-handed, but Talino has escaped charges on a technicality. While Shane looks for another way to bring Talino to justice before he strikes again, Talino launches a plan to ruin Shane's life. Meanwhile, Shane has to go to Alberta to track down recently paroled Will Evans, who doesn't know he's inherited a fortune from his estranged family.
