He's done playing the field.
She's blurring their roommate boundaries.
Love's about to move in...
I should probably talk to a therapist about all the wildly inappropriate thoughts I'm having about Jay Richards. But since I'm studying to be a counselor, that feels embarrassingly meta.
Jay's my best friend, musical soulmate, and the roommate I shouldn't want, even if he's cooking dinner with me, binging my favorite shows without complaint, and cheerfully dropping money into his dirtbag jar to fund my houseplant obsession.
Then tragedy strikes, and suddenly Jay needs me — to help him become the kind of man he believes is worthy of love. Saying no has never been my strong suit, especially not to Jay, even if agreeing might shatter my heart. Because every makeover session, late-night talk, and double dating disaster is pushing us closer to the edge.
Everyone's convinced Jay isn't boyfriend material — including Jay. Our friends have made it clear dating me means losing their friendship, but the only thing worse than risking it all might be pretending we're not already in too deep.
Formula for Devotion is book 5 in the Excelling @ Love Series but can be read as a stand-alone.
