The 'fairytale suite' I Blaafjellet (In the Blue Mountain), Op. 44, consists of six virtuoso piano movements of great originality and beauty, inspired by Norwegian mythical creatures. First-ever Urtext edition, edited by Christian Grøvlen, following the original 1896 edition, which was out of print for many years. Agathe Backer Grøndahl ist vor allem als bedeutende norwegische Pianistin bekannt, während ihre meisterhaften Kompositionen bis heute nur wenig Beachtung fanden. Die ,,Märchensuite" I Blaafjellet (Im Blauberg) op. 44 besteht aus sechs virtuosen Klaviersätzen von großer Originalität und Schönheit, die von norwegischen Fabelwesen inspiriert sind.
