This book is the culmination of 40 years of academic teaching, Research, Consulting and International Technology transfer. The book consists of 8 chapters:
1- Pipeline hydraulics
2- Design Safety
3- Design of pumping systems
4- Pumps characteristic curves 5- Open Channel Hydraulics
6- Hydrology and Design of culvert
7- Flow Measurement Structures

*The book can be used for preparation of FE and PE exams in Civil Engineering.
The author is an endowed professor of Civil Engineering at New Mexico State University. He was raised on a family farm and has 25 years of farming experience. He has more than 40 years of experience in teaching, research, consulting, and International Technology transfer. The author has been ranked among the top two percent of scientists in the world by Stanford University. His academic research has resulted in two utility patents. The author is the co-author of the well-known Hargreaves-Samani equation which is being used worldwide. The author is also a Fulbright scholar. He speaks four languages and has had teaching, research and consulting projects in 18 countries worldwide.
His previous publications include "Irrigation Scheduling, bilingual guideline, by Hargreaves and Samani" published in 2000.
