Novel for children and young teens set in Port Eynon, south Wales in 1943-44. Teen rugby genius George and young GI and quarterback Oliver, stationed nearby, bond over shared bereavement and love of sport. However, both start to realise the importance that fate will have on Oliver in the upcoming D-Day invasion.
