It has been four years since the notorious serial killer Mackenzie "Kenzie" Williams, known back then by the pseudonym "Dark Star", ravaged countless police departments across the continental United States, all in a misguided pursuit of justice for the destruction of her hometown. Since then, her identical twin sister, Jacqueline "Jackie" Williams, has succeeded in teaming up with a group of law enforcement officials to track her down, bring her into custody, and end her twisted crusade......but as the years went on, the name "Dark Star" became a hotly debated topic.

Some idolized her in their own sick and twisted way, while others seem determined to connect Jackie to her twin sister and demand that she faces accountability as well. But nonetheless, Dark Star's influence remains prominent well after her death, and it seemed as though Jackie and her friends—Cal Thompson and Kristen Whittaker—could never escape the association.

Things go from bad to worse after another police officer is found dead in his patrol car under mysterious circumstances.......and Jackie is targeted as the initial suspect once more.

And what initially starts out as a renewed mission to clear her name becomes something much more sinister, as Jackie learns that her rather murderous sibling may not truly be gone after all......
