VOLUME ONE IN THE DI CEDRIC LEROY SERIES

Enveloper

It's the mid twenty-first century and as climate change marches on irreversibly, man has begun colonising and mining on the moon. But where humans go, so inevitably does crime.

New Dorchester, the United Kingdom's first moon mining colony has a problem. They have a body, but strangely, they have no idea who he is, or how he got onto the base...and one of their security officers has vanished from the completely sealed establishment.

The Foreign Secretary has requested a senior Metropolitan Police Detective must attend the scene and make some sense of it quickly. DI Cedric LeRoy is instructed to go up there, but for a man who gets sea sick in a canoe, it's not a journey or case he particularly relishes.

Suddenly thrust into a world he doesn't recognise, with multiple factions seemingly trying to thwart the investigation and even kill him at every turn. Can LeRoy succeed in the ultimate test of survival long enough to uncover the face of man's cruellest ever enemy.

Author Note:

For the benefit of my awesome fans across the pond, this novel is written in UK English and may include a few colloquialisms and spellings that you don't recognise. There is, understandably considering the circumstances, a bit of swearing involved. We do swear a bit in England, just put it down to eccentricity, or maybe our spirited Anglo-Saxon heritage.

Another unusual trait of the Brits, is to use humour in stressful situations. Just ask anyone who's been on active service with the British Armed Forces. It helps to keep one sane!

Now you're all prepared, I hope you enjoy the stories.

Cheers for now
