Kaleb loves Tuesdays because it's swimming lesson day!

From school to the pool, every moment is an adventure. Join Kaleb as he excitedly waits for Grandma to stop chatting and shopping so he can go swimming in the pool. Will he manage to be patient long enough to finally get to jump in the water?

This heartwarming story captures the excitement and delight of a child who loves to swim. It's perfect for young readers and parents to share. Kaleb's adventure reminds us of the joy in our favorite activities.

Author's Note about Kaleb

Earlier in his life, Kaleb's family lived near the beach, in the Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, area. During the week, his aunt and his parents would swim with him at the local pool, and on most weekends, they'd all go to the beach. Kaleb became an avid swimmer and looked forward to these excursions. He knew that once or twice a week, he'd be in the pool, and he really enjoyed that.

After his family relocated to Missouri and Kaleb learned that the beach wasn't near, he realized that his swimming would be in pools unless he was on vacation, which included a beach whenever possible.

To our surprise, on a recent birthday trip, Kaleb exclaimed loudly as he jumped in the pool, "I'm a rock star!" And then he casually swam away-as if he hadn't said anything. This caught us off guard, because for the most part, Kaleb is nonverbal. We all burst into laughter!
