This book retells, in a particular adaptation of Homer's epic poem "The Odyssey" and in a narrative and style suitable for children and young people, Ulysses' return to his island, Ithaca, after the Trojan War. The hero spent ten years trying to return home while facing great difficulties and terrifying creatures, such as a Cyclops - a wild giant with only one eye - and dangerous ones, such as the Sirens, whose song could lead the sailors to death. The story culminates in a battle to recover everything he had left in Ithaca to fight in Troy. The book, complemented by captivating illustrative figures, offers audiences of all ages the story of one of the classics of Greek mythology and universal literature. In addition to the story itself, there are insertions in each chapter of texts that introduce Greek mythology.
