Mice are given infinite life in Beni's brain-merging lab, but that is not enough for her. Beni wants to subject her own brain to an experiment she read about on the internet. An app promises to make her learn any language with the ease of a child. The only price is her own need to belong - which seems a no-brainer for an antisocial grad student. The stakes get higher as her experiments clash and sweep away the experimenter.
