And so I created several short stories to tell tales I felt in my heart about past lives, a woman coming of age in a small southern town at several stages in the town's history, a love story with several twists and turns, and a true story of accidentally traveling with drug smugglers.
The first story, Lives Lived. That the opportunity abounds in this universe to perhaps live many lives, each building on the next.

In Raging Sea, I had been compelled to write a love story. But I desired to create a more realistic story with complexities of life and how one must ignore family, children and culture to follow love. What happened when the characters finally met at the end? We know love is messy. Could they find the love they had those many years ago? Could they find dreams together now that they had created such dreams apart?

Sue and Al was a short story line. A story to show intense emotion and to show off the actors' abilities. I wrote in the middle of the wars in Iraq and thus created a plot and two characters who might have missed eternity.

Coke Ring is the only true story in this collection. It happened as written.
