The evolution of Chinese writing is a fascinating story.
And Jiaguwen, also known as the oracle bones script, is said to be the first ever Chinese script.
But is it really?
Where are the missing links?
Are they to be found in the Taowen on pottery fragments at some archaeological sites?
Amazingly, Chinese scripts have developed from the first Jiaguwen to the many later systems of Chinese writing without losing very much of their original shapes and forms.
