Book two in the Abomination series sees the survivors of the original plague holed upon an island on the coast of Britain.. Wight has become the haven for humanity and holds the largest amount of survivors around the globe. But a savage nuclear winter is coming and the surviving armed forces, including a special warfare unit led by Major Brandon, must carry out a daring scavenging mission to Aldershot to procure the necessary means to safeguard those survivors existing out in the cold for lack of shelter.
But it doesn't end there for the Major and his team have a crucial tasking after that. They must cross the Atlantic on the A400 piloted by group captain Mills.
A group of surviving American military, led by a team of SEAL's, and civilians have got hold of the presidents nuclear launch case and are working to decode it, with the intent of destroying all major concentrations of rabies victims around the world.
The British prime minister and general staff will not permit this, already seeing the destructive effects of the limited nuclear strike they unleashed on Spain as temperatures plummet in the throes of a nuclear winter and so the Major is sent to either retrieve the case or destroy it. Something the America survivors, especially their military elite, will no doubt fight to prevent.
Non stop action in this sequel, from Wight through to mainland Britain and the Chesapeake bay in Virginia, United States.
