High in the Great Glen two children grow up and attend the same Academy. Emily with her natural good looks, and artistic talents, as well as being a friendly natural leader; spies the wee laddie James, who is also a natural artist. However, Emily is 18 months older than her chosen one, but is a very determined but patient young lass, as tragedy, as well as Covid intervene, before a touch of serendipity brings them together. James who from the moment he is selected as the 'chosen one', feels sure it is all a dream, created by the wicked witch from the north, but is brave enough to tame his Emily, so when they get engaged, a fairy godmother is there, to ensure they will not only bring joy to each other but bring joy to the whole village. Thus, you see sometimes, dreams do come true, as well as for many of their friends. Read, laugh and cry, as our two lovers shed tears of joy and bring blessings to their parents.
