After barely surviving the ramifications of the Winter Stone, Panda and Mitzi Fowler are given a new mission: to locate another piece of the Circle of Stones. This time, it's the Summer Stone in Africa, which is also being sought by evil forces threatening all Free Creatures. Since this time it's only a search for the stone and retired cop Charlie Potts will be joining them for security, it should be almost a vacation, right? If only being an agent for the Hercynian Garden were so easy. To avoid detection by Lupus Imperium, they must go undercover—oh, and one more thing.
