ASHA, Cosmo & Fluffy

theway back home

Book 2 of 6 – a trio reunited

In prehistoric Norway (5000 BC), siblings Asha and Cosmo continue their journey home alongside their newfound companion—Fluffy, a lost baby woolly mammoth who can speak. As they travel east toward a distant river Fluffy believes will lead to his herd, the trio deepens their bond through shared survival skills. Asha soothes Fluffy's itchy ears with herbal remedies, Cosmo teaches stealth techniques (with comically poor results), and Fluffy impresses them by sniffing out food and water.

Their friendship is tested when a cave bear attacks their hillside camp. Fluffy bravely confronts the predator while Cosmo distracts it and Asha creates noise from a safe distance. Together, they drive the bear away, solidifying their trust in one another. That night, they realize they've become an unlikely family—a "herd" of their own—united by loyalty and shared purpose.

The initial opening credit music is "The famous 3", which does run to approximately 2 1/2 minutes plus trumpets the talent of our heroes in a dangerous world using appropriate musical instruments, music type and mood. The closing music, "brave hearts, ends the story running to just over 3 minutes, harp, flute and drums suggest continuation of the journey into the next instalment.

The story and music itself runs to just over 1 hour and is narrated by claire francis, my wife.

I do hope you enjoy this audiobook and let me know what you think, there are a lot more to come
