It's all breathless, clandestine meet ups for Charity and Fabian, in the company of stomach butterflies and stolen kisses, until there's an unplanned pregnancy. Her strict parents are appalled that she'd gotten with a lowly meat seller. Charity is sent to obscurity to avoid embarrassing her parents.
