Summer at the Hearth

Things have been strained between Addie and her mother ever since Addie left to become the witch of the Hearth: a ramshackle bed and breakfast in a tiny town on the coast. Now she's hosting her whole family for a proper New Zealand summer Christmas, and it's her chance to prove to her mum that she knows what she's doing.
The long sunny days in the peaceful town of Araporo are unexpectedly fractured by arguments, and the nights blighted by wintery nightmares. To make matters worse, something strange is prowling the town after dark. Everyone's tensions and tempers run high, and the chances of a happy holiday are disappearing fast.
Addie, her boyfriend Jonno and her familiar Avocado must find the source of the unrest before harm comes to anyone and to restore peace to the summer days.
A novella length book set in Aotearoa New Zealand, sequel to "Hearth and Hearth" but can be read as a standalone.
