Wang, twelve-years-old and lazy, dreams of becoming rich and powerful. He refuses to work in the wheat fields all his life, like his father. After dreaming of soaring through the sky on a mighty dragon that he controls, his solution is to become one of the legendary mystical Eternals, a group known and feared for their magical feats. But first he needs to find out where the Eternal Temple is.

He asks his father, then the village mayor, then the doctor, and finally the village elder. No one knows where the Eternals live, or they don't want to tell Wang because he's usually up to no good.

After finally learning where the Eternal Temple is, Wang journeys through a dense fog and rugged monutain trail to get there and begins an apprenticeship. It turns out, though, that Wang is not exactly cut out for the whole 'patience and hard work' apprentice thing. But before bailing, he learns one magical skill: WALKING THROUGH WALLS.

However, Wang is warned that he can only use the magic for good. But he wonders if taking from the rich is considered wrong. Will he ignore the warning and use his newly acquired magical skill instead to get rich?
