"There are worlds beyond this one that watch us, hunting our souls in silence."

When Vic, a Brooklynite suffering from insomnia, climbs the fire escape one hot night, he doesn't just inhale the night air - he exhales reality. He has no idea that it's not the only one surrounding him. Like most of us, Vic is convinced, or rather certain, that he lives in a stable, predictable world, neatly framed by reason and the senses.

That vision begins to crumble the moment a mysterious fog descends and engulfs the city—revealing a darker layer of existence. Within it, Vic glimpses a surreal world where time bends and desires take shape. There, he meets Isabella: seductive, spectral, and unnervingly familiar feme-fatale. She claims to know him better than he knows himself. A dream incarnate, perhaps—but one that leads him to an impossible decision: to surrender to the fog or return to a former disappointing life he no longer recognizes as his own.

But the fog's revelations won't end with Isabella and her tempting worl. What Vic learns next will forever alter his understanding of reality. The people around, the city, all the fings which he thought he knew and understood. The framework of what he believed was "real" and what he considered untrue will make him realize that in this world—or the one beside it—the mind is not a reliable compass.

Everything Vic experiences will raise endless questions. In finding the way to the answer, he will be helped by someone he has known and met every day for many years. His neighbor Dharma, who, to Vic's surprise, has previously experienced the nature of the nebulous multiverse.

Mistify is a psychologically charged speculative mystery in which parallel, intelligent realities prey on human nature. As Vic and Dharma join forces with a network of survivors, they begin to discover a terrifying truth: the mist is not a dream, not a delusion, not a spiritual haunting or a glitch in a simulated world —it is a predator.

You and your secrets are not safe. The mist knows them well. It knows you better than you know yourself. And be assured, it will use that against you.
