The man that brought the Gospel to the mission field and wrote half the New Testament wasn't always seen as a success. In his generation's eyes, Paul was a failed apostle who broke agreement with church leaders and died alone in prison. Not knowing the incredible legacy his work would leave, Paul reflects on his life and ministry with the heir to his work, a young pastor named Timothy. This short study traces the letters to Timothy in their context, drawing out the wisdom of Paul's reflections on church leadership and sound advice for pastors today. Paul died with very little possessions but left a story that would change the world forever, inspiring ministers for generations and setting a foundation for church as we know it.
